The owners of FlyingTee are up front about what their golf-centric entertainment center is not.
“This is anything but a driving range,” said John Vollbrecht, a founder and CEO. “The golf is important, but it’s secondary to everything else that is going on.”
The three-story, 53,000 square-foot facility at the Jenks Riverwalk features 60 golf bays where guests can play virtual versions of famous courses, compete in various games or practice their swing.
“Really, it’s all about fun,” Vollbrecht said. “Whether you’re a golfer or a nongolfer and want to watch your favorite team on one of our TVs, FlyingTee is all about fun for any age and any demographic.”
The owners are ready to bring their concept to new markets and are working with a national project management firm for the process.
